This business is a global, automotive tier 1 and due to an upturn in exports is expanding due to several key model launches.
We are looking for an ambitious, Purchasing Coordinator to focus on New Product Introduction.
You will be already on a CIPS programme, potentially level 3 or 4 and want to further you career in this forward thinking business.
Working with several key departments including, production planning, engineering and quality you will work as part of a project team to obtain all data required to allow request for quotation.
You will work closely with engineering to ensure drawings and specifications are available to the wider purchasing community in the business.
You will have strong communication skills and have the confidence to hold constructive discussions with project engineers and drive forward important engineer changes with procurement in mind.
It is important that you understand the speed in which automotive has to work and that quality, costs and delivery to OE's is vital to be successful.
